I got up early on Tuesday and drove to valley and old celtic monastic settlement Glendalough. I was hoping for a nice sunrise with a bit of mist/fog and I wasn’t disappointed.
The morning mist and backlight sun created a lovely layering and the trees and buidlings of the monastery are shown as sillhouettes. You can see the top of the famous round tower and two of the seven churches - St. Mary’s or Our Lady’s Church and the cathedral.
Even though it looks like it this is not in sepia. Instead the colours are created by the warm morning light.
